LateRooms
UI Designer
The role
At LateRooms, I transitioned from digital to UX/UI design, shifting focus from looks to function. Working on white-label sites, I learned to design with accessibility and user behaviour in mind, grounding decisions in research and conversion goals.
PROJECT
White-label Design System
The problem
LateRooms was expanding, adding new features to the main site as well as creating a white-label experience site which would be sold to travel companies, enabling their customers to bundle holiday experiences into one purchase.
The solution
With a background in branding, I led the Design System for both the main brand and white-label sites like National Express and Virgin, ensuring consistency across design and development before the company entered administration.

These Design Systems and the assets within them formed the basis of the pages designed created by UX Designers in the team, as well as being used for reference and building by Developers.
We created websites for Virgin Escapes and National Express Holidays.

These sites aimed to bundle UK holidays—Travel, Accommodation, and Attractions—into one purchase. Clear, consistent info was key due to the journey’s complexity.
