The problem
The music I was listening to while designing just wasn’t hitting the spot. I’d always wanted to try my hand at production, so set out to create the music that would keep me in the zone.
The solution
I started to create music based on the type of music I grew up listening to; Jazz, Blues and Lofi Hip Hop. This led to a series of albums, and a limited edition physical release which sold out.
FUN FACT
I have a degree in Graphic Design, and started my career as a Graphic Designer, transitioning to a Digital Designer then UI Designer, before finding my passion in Design Systems.
Independently, I funded the production of a limited edition physical run of 20 cassettes which I sold through my Bandcamp page. While not a massive amount at all, it still thrills me to be able to say that they all sold out.Long live the sax.
